Addition of supplements has helped UCer

I saw a really positive post by Elizabeth about supplements that she has added to her regime in order to eliminate Colitis symptoms, she has kindly agreed to let me add it to the UCer website.

For 3 months Elizabeth has been taking 12 supplement capsules per day along with Asacol and in her own words, she "can't believe the improvement!!" The supplements have helped eliminate any discomfort and blood which is great news.

I asked if she'd changed anything in her diet but it's exactly the same and in fact, she has been eating things she wouldn't dare eat 3 months ago without any ill effect. This is good because it's clear that the supplements have been a big part of this improvement. There have been no side effects and as a bonus she has also noticed her skin is a lot better. This is fantastic and I hope things continue to improve for Elizabeth.

Elizabeth tries not to over eat as she found eating too much in the past caused a lot of grief.

Also, Elizabeth points out stress is most definitely a big no no with UC - keeping calm and stress free is the key! I couldn't agree more with this sentiment!
